Kenzo Perron (a.k.a. K Wata) is an artist, producer, and DJ based in New York City. He is a co-founder of the experimental electronic label SLINK, which hosts regular events in NYC’s underground dance scene and has a mission of promoting diverse and eclectic artists with their releases. In addition to his own albums, which have received acclaim from outlets like Resident Advisor and DJ Mag, he has collaborated and produced for a wide array of artists including Yaeji and Relaxer. Kenzo has also worked as a mentor with Sound Thinking NYC, a program of the CUNY Creative Arts Team and Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment that pairs music professionals with students interested in the music industry.
